Presentation of MUT Proposals to PN
MUT officials had a meeting with Leader of the Opposition and PN Leader Dr Bernard Grech, General Secretary Dr Michael Piccinino, Mr Stefan Caruana, Mr Justin Schembri and Ms Julie Zahra. The union presented its proposals to political parties entitled Malta Education and outlined its main vision consisting of the initiation of discussions on the transformation of the sector. Dr Grech praised the work of MUT and educators. In his arguments he emphasised the need for stability in the education sector, the need to instil respect towards educators and to improve salaries and working conditions.
