Payment Issues at MCAST
The MUT is in contact with the Principal and the HR Director at MCAST after it received various complaints about payments not issued to members, including for extra hours worked during normal working hours as well as hours worked extra with MG2I. Various lecturers reported to have payments missing on a span of various months, some over 5 months. The MUT is discussing ways to resolve these issues and stated that it is expecting all arrears to be cleared by the first salary of January, after which it would have to declare a trade dispute and take the necessary action.
