Non-contact time in State Primary – breach of agreement
The MUT was in contact with the Ministry for Education after it was informed that the non-contact time in Primary schools is being filled with meetings. The MUT stated that this is in breach of the agreement whereby meetings during the non-contact time should be limited to sixty minutes per week and cannot take the entire non-contact time allocation. The MUT will be directing members if the issue is not resolved accordingly.
