No payment for supervision in Resource Centres – the third time in a few months
The Malta Union of Teachers communicated with the Ministry for Education and Employment about the repeated failed payments for supervision for members at Resource Centres. This is the third time that supervision payments have not been issued and the Union is expecting immediate action so that dues are issued. The Union notes the two weights and two measures being applied in that whilst the respective Directorates are rigid in the way they are dealing with educators at these Centres, with reports of warnings issued for even minor offences, the same Directorates fail to investigate and to take the applicable disciplinary measures for officers responsible for the failed issue of supervision payments.
