No formal meeting with Government negotiators in sight
The MUT has renewed the request (the third one) for a formal negotiations meeting with the government on a new sectoral agreement. There may have been reasons for not meeting during the week prior to and following the elections but there are no valid reasons for any procrastination. Unless a meeting is called, it will be evident that the government is not willing to conclude the sectoral agreement for educators in a timely manner, despite its communication to educators about the benefits of the agreement. The MUT shall continue to follow this request and shall take any actions as required.
