New For.U.M. Executive Council 2018-2021 – Marco Bonnici elected For.U.M. President
MUT President Marco Bonnici has been elected as the President of the For.U.M. confederation of Unions which MUT forms part of. This took place during the For.U.M. Triennial General Conference 2018 held yesterday Thursday 2nd May 2018. The conference was addressed by the Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition.
The MUT would like to congratulate its President and augurs that this appointment will continue to promote further social dialogue and better industrial relations among all stakeholders. Meanwhile the MUT would like to thank outgoing For.U.M. President Kevin Bonello for his sterling work heading it. It is thanks to him and the Executive Council of the past term that For.U.M. developed into a leading social partner in the variety of sectors that it represents.
The Forum Unions Maltin (For.U.M.) during the Triennial General Conference announced its newly elected Executive Council for the next three years which will be composed as follows:
Marco Bonnici – President
Colin Galea – General Secretary
Christopher Attard- Vice-President
Anthony Portelli – Treasurer
Joseph Aquilina – Deputy General Secretary
The For.U.M. also took this opportunity to thank all those who yesterday participated and contributed for the success of the conference.
