MUT’s position on school hours and calendar unchanged
With reference to an interview with the Minister for Education published yesterday, the MUT assures all members that its position is unchanged with regards to school hours and the school calendar. A similar statement was issued last January in this respect – these will be untouched. The MUT would have expected, instead, that the Minister thanked educators for their invaluable and endless work during the unprecedented pandemic, rather than floating proposals which the Ministry already knows they shall not go through.
