MUT welcomes political pledge for significant increase in salaries and improved conditions of work of educators
Following MUT’s publication of the document with its vision and proposals for political parties entitled Malta Education, which the union asked to be raised to the political agenda, the MUT is pleased to note the pledge of political parties in favour of educators’ improved salaries and conditions. Furthermore, the words of praise towards the work of educators being expressed by party leaders should be pursued beyond the election campaign for improved levels of respect towards the profession.
The MUT is looking forward to the political parties’ adoption of Malta Education, which is the union’s vision for better salaries and working conditions of educators and includes sixty proposals for the education sector.
