MUT expects 6 working days for scripts and 5 days for corrections/reporting as per State Schools agreement
The MUT wrote to the DG DES and the DG DQSE after it received reports that the 6 working days for return of scripts and the 5 working days before 7th July dedicated to corrections/recording/reporting are not being respected by some Secondary Schools. The Union is informed that annual examination scripts are being requested before the 6 working days from the date of the exam whereas activities are being organised during the 5 working days before 7th July. The Union stated that it is following this issue due to a breach of agreement and is expecting the DGs’ respective offices to ensure that schools adhere to the clauses stipulated in the agreement.
