MUT congratulates new University Rector
The Malta Union of Teachers would like to congratulate Prof. Alfred Vella on becoming the new Rector of the University of Malta. The Union hopes to collaborate closely with Prof. Vella both on trade-unionistic issues and debates and on professional, academic matters.
Meanwhile, the MUT would also like to thank Prof. Godfrey Baldacchino for his input in the rectorship process and hopes that the Union will continue to work closely with the Centre of Labour Studies under his chairmanship.
Last but not least, the MUT also thanks outgoing Rector Prof. Juanito Camilleri for his dedication to the University of Malta throughout his tenure.
