Meeting with the Education Minister at the IfE
The MUT attended a meeting called by the Education Minister with the Union and employees at the Institute for Education (IfE). The meeting concerned the ongoing negotiations and dispute of the union regarding a new collective agreement. Minister Clifton Grima acknowledged the extensive work carried out by all employees at IfE and pledged to reach a solution to the ongoing dispute with the MUT. Discussions between the Education Ministry and the MUT to try to solve the dispute followed and shall continue next week.
