Inclusion of new grade in the MUT – MCAST collective agreement
Following the recognition process for the grade of Student Mentors obtained by the MUT and the recent approval of this grade as part of the headcount of MCAST, Student Mentors shall now join the MUT-MCAST collective agreement being negotiated. This means that the agreement shall now include seven grades as follows: Lecturing grades, Student Services grades, LSE grades, Technicians grades, Directors/Heads, Deputy Directors, Senior Research Officers and Student Mentors. The MUT thanks Student Mentors for their trust and support and appreciates the efforts carried out by MCAST and the Education Ministry to have this grade included in the MCAST headcount structure.
