MCAST transfers funds for work resources – MUT lifts directive on attendance records
The Malta Union of Teachers is lifting the directive to lecturers to refrain from passing attendance records to Management. This decision has been taken after MCAST transferred the funds for works resources and published the agreed policy on the use of such resources. Educators can now utilise the said works resources allowance as stipulated in the agreement. The Union is still following other pending issues with MCAST including the issue of arrears and salary adjustments which are due later this month. The remaining directives shall remain in place until the MUT is satisfied that all issues related to salaries and allowances are addressed.
