The longstanding saga of the distribution of laptops for educators in state schools seems to be nearing its conclusion. Since the first tender by the Education Ministry was not sufficient to cover the distribution of all laptops to educators, a second tender was issued in the past months and the chosen supplier is starting the distribution process. The union estimates that there are over 2000 educators who have not received the device through the first tender and supplier. During these days there shall be a consignment of the first batch of laptops for distribution. The MUT and Education Ministry shall be meeting this week to discuss the process and to facilitate distribution.
