Front Sheets at MCAST
The MUT wrote to the MCAST Principal on the issue of front sheets and its various samples circulating. The Union stated that as it already explained, such front sheets should include the basic details of the assignment and the Learning Outcomes being assessed by each unit. Unfortunately this sheet is including unnecessary bureaucratic burden which makes no academic sense and which is however wasting time which could be used for research and/or preparation. The MUT also stated that if MCAST insists in using this type of front sheet the Union cannot stop it from doing so. However such administrative work should be done by administrative staff and not by educators.
