Directive to SMTs in State Schools on students requiring one-to-one support
The Union is hereby directing all SMT members to refuse to take responsibility of students requiring one-to-one support when their respective LSAs are absent. SMT members are directed to stick to the standard procedure and send students home if there are no LSAs as relievers/pool available to support these students. This is being done in view of verbal directions being given to some SMT members to take responsibility of unsupported students. This directive shall remain into effect until officers who are giving these directions present a declaration to shoulder any legal responsibility for any incidents that may occur.
