Directive to all grades at MCAST – overpayments
The MUT is receiving reports that MCAST is carrying out an exercise claiming that a number of employees received overpayment due to errors in the past years. The MUT has requested details about the said overpayments and the errors being claimed but these have not been forthcoming. In view of this, the union is directing all members to refrain from negotiating with MCAST or agreeing with MCAST about any refunds of claimed overpayments until the matter is discussed and claims are verified.
