Directive on communications received through personal mobile phones
The Union is informed that some schools are sending SMSs to teaching grades to inform them about school updates and/or to request specific action. The MUT would like to clarify that this is not an agreed practice and is therefore directing members to ignore any communication which is not received through established communication channels. The Union reminds that no employee can be obliged to provide his/her personal mobile number to the employer.
