Directive for Helen Keller Resource Centre
The MUT informed the Directorate for Educational Services (DES) that it will be directing all LSAs at Helen Keller Resource Centre to refrain from leaving their respective class/students assigned during the day. This directive shall come into effect on Monday 30th October and is being issued as a reaction of the Union in view of the current shortage of LSAs at the Centre caused by a decision of MEDE to transfer LSAs and not replace them. The Union is expecting the deployment of LSAs and a concrete plan to replace the 4 LSAs who are required.
