Consultation Process on the Appointment of University Rector and Proposed University Act
The MUT wrote to the Minister for Education and Employment on the recently launched consultation process concerning the appointment of a new Rector for the University of Malta as well as the proposed University Act. The MUT registered its interest in contributing to the consultation process in order to voice the ideas and suggestions of its members within the University of Malta. Meanwhile, the Union encouraged active contribution to the consultation process. The Union augured that the recommendations of the academic staff of the Junior College and the University of Malta are duly taken into account in the important decisions ahead.
