Circular on Transport Rates at Resource Centres
The MUT was in contact with the Director at the Student Services (DES) on behalf of educators at Resource Centres with regards to a circular issued recently related to transport supervision rates to accompany children with disability. The Director has confirmed that the DES issued only guidelines in this regard following insistence from some Heads at Resource Centres. These much needed guidelines, according to this Director, also included an open-door policy for Heads to discuss any of the points mentioned should any of them not apply for their Resource Centre.
