The MUT reminds all educators about the directive in force. All educators are directed to refrain from scanning or copying VET material to be provided through digital means to MATSEC. As already stated, this is clearly beyond the duties of educators. (Directive code: MUT D211222A)

The MUT would like to note that since there were no discussions with the Ministry on this programme, educators cannot be obliged to teach the Sports Career Development programme. Any pressure should be reported to the union through the usual channels.

The MUT is declaring a trade dispute with the Ministry for Education and Sport regarding coursework being requested by MATSEC for the next scholastic year.
