The MUT would like to clarify that the training session entitled “Summer workshop closure procedure for D&T Workshops – Information session for D&T Technicians starting training next year” falls under the directives currently in place for State Schools’ Technicians. Following the conclusion of the recognition process by DIER, it has been confirmed that the MUT has obtained sole representation of all academic grades at the University of Malta Junior College. The MUT is hereby directing all Guidance Teachers in State schools to refrain from collecting or submitting any statistics and also to refrain from contacting families with regards to catch-up programme. These are being requested from the Student Support Services Directorate. Any pressure is to be reported to the union.
