The MUT has opened a formal case with the Education Ministry regarding educators who have changed their employer and did not have all their previous years of employment being recognised. The MUT is referring to the relevant legislation and also to the rulings which recommend that prior experience is recognised.

The MUT is hereby directing educators in primary schools to refrain from filling checklists instead of alternative papers in Maltese and English since they have been stopped by the Ministry.
