The MUT and the Education Ministry pursued negotiations on the new sectoral agreement earlier today. Discussions are currently being carried out on principles which shall form the basis of the agreement. The MUT is informed that members are being requested to carry out training on AED. The union understands the need of this training but is opposing a training without a framework which supports educators when required. The union communicated with the Ministry and to-date there is no agreement about the same.
