Following the MUT’s submission of the financial proposals related to the new MCAST collective agreements a number of weeks ago, the Union contacted the management and gave an ultimatum, Friday 17th November, to receive a reaction and/or counter proposal. The Union will keep members updated on related developments.

Following an introductory meeting held last Friday with the Secretariat for Catholic Education, the MUT has requested the commencement of negotiations on the new Collective Agreement for Church Schools so that these are held in parallel with negotiations on the Sectoral Agreement for State Schools.
