Authorities ignore new case of abuse – MUT to direct affected members
The MUT has been following a very serious case involving an alleged abusive act by a parent involving a recording device found on a student at a Resource Centre. The affected centre and the Union in fact took immediate action with the respective authorities but to date the MUT is baffled by the very limited action taken when considering the seriousness and illegality of the action. The Union will be giving until Friday 22nd February to receive any communication about concrete actions being taken following which it will be directing affected members and seek further action accordingly.
