The Union is hereby directing all SMT members to refuse to take responsibility of students requiring one-to-one support when their respective LSAs are absent. Following queries from members, the MUT would like to clarify that personal medical appointments in public institutions are to be considered as part of sick leave and not to be deducted from special leave. Members are however requested to back this up with a certificate accordingly.
