Training Seminar called “Is this child gifted?” by Department of Curriculum Management

Core Curriculum Programme (CCP) mentors – clarification
The Union communicated with the DES regarding CCP loads for mentors. The respective Director confirmed that as has been the practice in previous years, CCP mentors will have 4 lessons allocated to CCP which will include the CCP lesson done with the CCP class.

MUT Election Updates
In a meeting held this afternoon the MUT Council has accepted a proposal made by the President to set up a working group and hire the services of professional auditors to restart the election process from scratch. More details will follow in the coming days.

LSAs cannot be requested to attend feedback/workshop sessions on Learning Outcomes
The MUT would like to clarify that it was not involved in any discussions regarding feedback sessions on Learning Outcomes for LSAs and LSAs therefore cannot be expected to attend these sessions. In view of this, LSAs are directed to stick to official communications received from MEDE regarding these sessions and ignore other directions.
