Following extensive discussions held with the Education Minister Clifton Grima and progress registered in negotiations as reported to members, the MUT shall be suspending all the directives at MCAST with effect from Tuesday 18th February 2025 and until the end of February 2025. This shall enable further negotiations to conclude the MCAST Collective Agreement.

The MUT opened the online voting process today following the ratification meeting held. Eligible members who registered to vote received the voting document by email through the audited voting system. The voting process closes on Wednesday 5th February at 3.30pm. The Union encourages affected members to participate in this process.
