Any changes in conditions will have to be agreed to as part of new sectoral agreement
The MUT would like to remind all members that employment conditions of all educators are regulated by the sectoral agreement. This means that all proposals being put forward by political parties will have to be agreed to with the Union in the context of the new sectoral agreement being negotiated. The Union stresses that it will not agree to any measures it deems to be unacceptable and will also consult members before any decisions are taken and agreements signed.
