Recognition at San Andrea and new negotiations
Following a verification exercise carried out by DIER, it was declared that MUT has the absolute majority of employees in the childcare and kindergarten grades. The union communicated with the school management about this result and in their reply, the management confirmed that these grades will be included in the new collective agreement of the school which includes also Teachers, LSEs and a number of other grades. The MUT already has agreements for these grades. This means that the MUT now represents the entire school educator grades. The union is currently coordinating with the school to carry out negotiations on a new collective agreement. Affected members shall be duly informed. The MUT thanks members for their support.
