Restricting access to educators
The MUT wrote to the Education Ministry about a decision to restrict the access of educators to internet in their laptops. The update to the laptop software which has been pushed by the Ministry in all educators’ laptops are rendering these devices useless. Restriction to internet which includes also educational sites is now in place both at the workplace and when using these devices at home. In a communication to the Ministry, the MUT has objected strongly about this decision which shall translate in a considerable reduction in the quality and the amount of resources provided to students.
