Independent schools – parity of financials
The MUT is communicating separately with Independent schools to carry out discussions regarding how schools shall re-establish the parity of financials of their educators with educators in the State and Church Schools sectors. Discussions shall also be carried out to initiate negotiations on the collective agreements of the respective schools. This follows also the financial assistance which has been announced and provided by the government to Independent schools to support the respective educators. The MUT shall be updating members of respective schools accordingly.
