Extraordinary General Conference – unanimous vote for the extension of the MUT term
During an Extraordinary General Conference called by the MUT President and which was held today, Conference Delegates voted unanimously for the extension of the MUT Council term by six months effective from 1st July 2024 till 31st December 2024. This shall enable the MUT to continue discussions towards the conclusion and the implementation of the four agreements being negotiated – the Sectoral Agreement for State Schools, the Church Schools Collective Agreement, the MCAST Agreement and the ITS Agreement. The MUT Council thanks all the participants in the Extraordinary General Conference for their support.
