First Aiders in Schools – Application on Voluntary Basis
The Union is informed that, following repeated calls for applications for First Aiders in Schools (with added duties), attempts are being made to enlist the required complement. In view of the fact that the Union received complaints on attempts which are tantamount to pressure, MUT members experiencing such a situation are advised to contact the Union at the earliest. The Union reiterates the fact that First Aiders in Schools are to apply voluntarily and are not to be pressurized to apply. Members who found themselves in such predicament are also advised to contact the Union.
