SOP about Covid-19 related measures to be taken by schools upon reopening – MUT directive
The MUT was informed that an SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) about measures to be taken by schools upon reopening was being circulated in schools. The MUT alerted immediately the educational authorities, who confirmed that it was not a document issued by the Ministry for Education and Employment (MEDE). Whilst the origin of the document is not known, MEDE shall be advising schools about the matter. The MUT directs members to ignore the said SOP document. All such SOPs need to have a valid source and are only issued by the Government and Health authorities.
Update: The MUT is informed that MEDE took prompt action to stop the said SOP.
