Further update on IEP reviews
The MUT once again contacted the DES after it was informed that despite an understanding otherwise, some LSEs were still told to send reviews to parents. In a reply, the DES stated that in the correspondence sent yesterday it should have explicitly been stated that these IEP reviews shall not be sent to parents or guardians.
Apart from this, there is still an issue with the tight deadline given since last year’s deadline was much later during the scholastic year. The MUT will continue to update on this matter accordingly.
