Big brother tactics – directive
The MUT is informed that teachers and lecturers are receiving pressure to add administrative personnel to their respective virtual learning environment so they can monitor what is being carried out. This confirms the level of mistrust of some administrators in education. In one particular case the rights were changed centrally to give access for monitoring of online teaching. The MUT communicated with the respective educational authorities and is directing all teachers and lecturers to refrain from giving such rights.
