MUT appeals once again for Church Schools Recruitment Reform
The MUT wrote to Archbishop Scicluna to remind him that 10 months have already passed since the meeting held on the issue of recruitment reform to address current questionable practices in some Church Schools. The Union is informed that an inquiry was held and that its results and any related actions are being kept under wraps. Meanwhile a whole scholastic year has passed and there are more cases of such practices, which include the termination of a number of employed persons without any valid reason. The MUT has asked the Archbishop for a copy of the recommendations which resulted from the inquiry, or at least the actions taken.
