My name is Luciano Vassallo and I am a student at the University of Malta, reading for a Masters in Teaching and Learning in Home Economics and Hospitality. I am presently conducting research as part of my dissertation titled “Male uptake of Home Economics: Influential factors and barriers contributing to subject choice”.
I am looking for Year 9 male students who chose any of the following option subjects to fill this short questionnaire: Home Economics, Hospitality, Biology, Chemistry, Accounting, Computing, Business Studies, Graphical Communications.
Participation in this questionnaire will be greatly appreciated. It will only take a few minutes. Link to the questionnaire HERE.
I am also looking for parents of Year 9 male students whose son chose any of the above subjects. Parents will be asked to take part in a short interview which should not last more than 60 minutes. All data collected will be kept strictly anonymous and confidential.
Should you wish to participate, or you have any questions, please contact me by email, luciano.vassallo.17@um.edu.mt or send me a private message.
