Recognition at St Patrick’s School
The MUT has requested the Director General at DIER to initiate an urgent process for recognition of educators at St Patrick’s School Sliema following appeals to the school not being considered. The Union stated that it believes that the majority of educators at this school are Union members and therefore requested the Directorate to start with process immediately. St Patrick’s, although under the responsibility of a religious order, is neither classified as a Church school nor a State school and currently its employees fall under no existing agreement.
