Reading Recovery/Complementary balance
Following intensive discussions between MUT and the Education Ministry, there was an agreement between the MUT and the Directorates together with the Literacy Agency for a model which balances Reading Recovery and Complementary support in State Primary schools. The way forward was announced by the MUT on 12th October and has now been communicated by the Education Ministry. The MUT requested the changes agreed upon on the basis of feedback from members based on the training model adopted for years for Reading Recovery and the Complementary support.
