Press Release: MUT thanks MCAST students for supporting their lecturers – communications between MUT and the Education Ministry are ongoing
The Malta Union of Teachers thanks MCAST students for their manifestation of support towards their lecturers and other personnel who are impacted by the two-year delay in the conclusion of the Collective Agreement. The activism of students in support of their lecturers is welcome and shows clearly that despite being affected directly, students are doing their part to seek improvement of the conditions of work of their lecturers. The MUT assures students and their organisations that the communications with the Education Ministry are ongoing to seek solutions which are satisfactory to lecturers and personnel affected by the agreement. The MUT hopes that these discussions shall lead to a satisfactory outcome for all, leading to the suspension of current directives affecting the publications of student results.
