Number of students in class in State/Church Secondary Schools
The number of students in class is stipulated in the respective agreements as follows:
– Forms I and 2 (Years 7 and 8): Maximum of 30 students (provided that the number of students does not exceed 26 in classes with a statement regarding individual needs);
– Forms 3, 4 and 5 (Years 9,10 and 11): Maximum of 25 students.
Class population is reduced in a number of option subjects and in classes implementing particular curricular intervention. Please contact the Union for any clarification.
