MUT requests setting up of board for career advisors as per Student Services Agreement
The MUT has written to the Minister for Education and Employment to ask the Ministry to look into setting up a board for career advisors as per Student Services Agreement. The Union stated that the idea was that since there are neither laws nor warrants covering Career Advisors, there should be a board set up by the Ministry / DES to monitor these professionals and issue recommendations accordingly. The MUT also reminded the Minister that these recommendations are needed for the career progression of these professionals.
