MUT and ITS sign a new collective agreement for academics
The MUT and ITS signed a new collective agreement for academics. The new agreement includes improved conditions of work and financials, and a first – the possibility to accede to the role of Professorship. The signing of the agreement followed the voting process whereby 97% approved the new ITS Collective Agreement.
This is the conclusion of a long process of negotiations with the Government, which included years of preparatory work and consultations with members.
The MUT thanks the Deputy Prime Minister Hon Ian Borg, the ITS CEO Mr Pierre Fenech, ITS Board, and ITS negotiators, IRU, MUT Officials, Council, Delegates, Members and staff for this agreement.
