Issue with payment delay in private summer school
Following communication with members, the MUT has been looking into a situation involving a private summer school whereby the majority of employees have not been paid for weeks. The Union gave an ultimatum so that payments shall be issued and has reported the situation to the Directorate for Employment and Industrial Relations (DIER). In the most recent communication, the school admitted the delay and committed to the issue of payments in the coming weeks. The MUT shall not be divulging details related to the school at this stage but will do so if the situation persists.
