IMPORTANT: Circular on online teaching during third term 2019/2020 issued
The third circular agreed upon by the Working Group, entitled, “Online teaching during the third term 2019/20” (DCLE 08/2020) has just been issued by the Directorate for Curriculum, Lifelong Learning and Employability within MEDE. This working group was set up following the closure of schools last month and is made up of representatives from the all three sectors: State, Church and Independent Schools, together with the Malta Union of Teachers. The aim is to strengthen methods of online teaching during the third term of this scholastic year as well as to explore the impact of the present situation on the curriculum. As stated in the circular, the working group thanks all schools and educators for their strong effort in taking teaching and learning online as well as to all parents/guardians and students for their engagement and collaboration.
