Implementation of the Work-Life Balance Directive in the education sector
The MUT communicated with the Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth, Research and Innovation with regards to the implementation of the Work-Life Balance Directive announced by the government yesterday. These include several rights to be introduced into Maltese law related to paternity leave, parental leave and carers’ leave. The MUT stated that it will be focusing on making sure that what has been announced is implemented in the education sector.
